Metallic Work

This was worked from an Anchor kit and adapted slightly to be more to my taste.  See the WIP photos.

Stumpwork and Goldwork Wedding Ring Cushion, an old RSN kit, which was a joy to work and a finish I was proud of.
Wedding souvenir pillow.  See the WIP series here.
Here are two detail shots from my version of Helen M Steven's 'Ornamental Pool' in the book 'Embroidered Gardens'.  I used rayon threads in the bodies and Kreinik cords for the metallic parts.  See the whole piece on the Needlepainting page and the whole WIP series here.

My own design using Anchor Marlitt rayons, DMC stranded metallics and various Kreinik braids/cords.  See it develop here.

A goldwork of my beloved, but much neglected viola heavily adapted from a Benton and Johnson kit. See the long, slow road to completion here.

This design is half of one appearing in the 'Anchor Beginners Guide to Embroidery'.  I changed the body colours and worked them in Marlitt as opposed to the prescribed stranded cotton.  See the stitching develop here.
I'm proud of this as I put it all together myself using the machine, with which I am NOT confident!
