The Latest Work of Art

I say that very much in inverted commas as I made a total pig's breakfast of mounting the stitching in the card and I'm afraid this picture makes it look even worse than the real thing is! Or maybe I was looking at it with a self-flattering eye!!!!?? Mmm, not sure about the 'talent' bit, Lelia, (although sweet of you to say so). I only seem to have a talent for gaffing it up at the last minute as far as stitching goes at times. Kinda disappointing, but I know no-one notices it half as much as I do!

Anyway, it's a 20th wedding anniversary card, which a fair few of us signed. I'm glad I got it signed before it was finished and mounted or I might have been embarrassed showing it around......!!!!!

Ooodles of thanks to all who posted nice comments on the last entry. It was especially scrummy to hear from personal friends there too.=)

That is so beautiful! Believe me, only you are seeing faults in this - I can see none.
Have a lovely week, Elisabeth! :) Hugs from sunny Paris :)

I think this is lovely...we just celebrated our 22nd. I do the same thing as you-over judge my own work. Perfectionists to the core I guess.

This is definitely a case of the creator being her own worst critic! You did a lovely job and mounting stitching in a little card is difficult.
Seems to me that if you've stitched over 100 projects and have less than a handful in your home, you need to do more for Elisabeth for awhile!

I wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't said. Too busy admiring the stitching (which I can't do to save my life).
As I have plenty of wrinkles to cover up, can I please borrow your best pillowcase until you need it?
'Friends' like that you can do without, Elisabeth!

I think your stitching is exquisite and the charms add a very nice touch. It is indeed a work of art with no inverted commas.
